Shall We then strike away the Remembrance from you (i.e., take away the Qur'an from you)? (43:5) In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.
Man understands value once they lose something. When one's parents die, when one loses his health, when one is no longer safe, they realize the incredible gifts they once had. Allah says: أَفَنَضْرِبُ عَنكُمُ الذِّكْرَ Shall We then strike away the Remembrance from you (i.e., take away the Qur'an from you)? (43:5) This verse should touch the depths of souls for people who love the Quran. For what an incredible loss it will be if the Quran was no longer with us? The Quran supports man. It comforts him in sadness, consoles him in loss, convinces him to be righteous, and connects him to Allah. وَاعْتَصِمُوا بِحَبْلِ اللَّهِ جَمِيعًا And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together. (3:103) But one day it will be taken away. From ‘Abd-Allaah ibn Mas’ood, who said: “Something will come and take the Qur’aan one night and not one aayah will be left, either in the Mus-haf or in the heart of any person, but it will be taken away.” (Narrated by al-Daarimi with a saheeh isnaad, no. 3209, islamqa.info/en/answers/3096) Therefore take comfort in the Quran before you cannot. O Allah, make the Qur’an 📖 the spring of our hearts and the light of our chests, and a departure for our sorrows and a remover for our distress
